About: Whiston Hospital

I was left in a barrier room, I was eventually given a night bag for my catheter told to leave it on the floor. Not happy got into my wheelchair and had to demand a catheter stand! Was advised by sister a lot of wards do not have them. They had to go to other wards to find one! This is unacceptable. I was in at the time being treated for c diff caught at whiston hospital. After a bad urosepsis infection! I was told over 2 years ago this would not happen again at Whiston, so nothing has changed and that concerns me! I was also left 40 minutes after buzzing 3 time to empty make leg bag, this did not happen and it backfilled leaving me in a wet bad of infected urine... Distressed and angry.
