The Consultants seem Bored & indifferent ..its always somebody's else's job.. All the ones in all three different cases I have recently been closely involved with now & in the last three years.

The joining of Stoke Mand. & High Wycombe & Amersham Hospitals produces big Public Transport Problems for many patients which the Management completely Igor ..They will only do want they are forced to. Complaints on any issue get grand formal acknowledgement then are 'Lost' ..or just thrown away (yes really!).

The receptionists are insane with overwork & atrocious organization structure.

God help us all from 'NHS Trust Managements'

If any Human Beings are actually in charge & LEADING & managing this 3 way mess there is no sign of it.

I am a patient with severe Osteo Arthritis in both hips referred to see a consultant on two occasions in the last two years.

He informed me I could have Hip Replacements if I wanted them BUT flatly refused to give me ANY information or Advice Re.the condition or exercise advice or Medication advise or any info.about the Replacement Operation NOTHING !

A close friend of mine is currently waiting on appointments & an operation for very bad Kidney Stones . SM sent her to High Wycombe Hosp. for what seemed to be an operation to sort this.

It turned out to be exploratory only with other ops. to come..NO advance information, or explanation.

The staff all seem to have a complete ignorance & indifference of the difficulties people who HAVE to Travel Public.have

And only offer to arrange transport if forced to @@@@

To add some Big Insult this sites name 'NHS Choices.'

implies there is a choice to be made ...Not so You live in Bucks you have to go here
