"Abysmal treatment"

About: Queen's Hospital (Romford)

I have been a patient for over a year now pending maxillofacial surgery for a severe overbite. I have had braces for over a year and have had my wisdom teeth pulled out. My orthodontist informed me that they were leaving. Around the same time my surgeon called also informed me they were leaving. It has been 6 months since they have left and I've yet to get a replacement orthodontist. To top this all off, I saw a childrens orthodontist 2 months ago and they informed me that the previous treatment and the pulling of one of my teeth was completely wrong and the whole 14 months of braces was in vain. The braces in fact make me look worse as they are pulling my teeth straight and it makes my overbite look even worse as the gap increases. I have tried to contact the orthodontics department via email several times and via telephone (must have called about 60 times). No one has returned a single email, no one has answered my calls, it always go's to voicemail after a few rings. The staff are rude and act like they are doing me a favour and they have basically fobbed me off mid-treatment. This review was a last resort and I'm very disappointed at this treatment.
