What could be improved

I should have been an inpatient some weeks before and then I may not have attempted suicide. However there are no single sex wards and most of my mental health problems relate to having been sexually abused and so my anxiety levels were very high while I was there.I am still actively suicidal and need inpatient treatment but I refuse because of the mixed wards. Now they want to section me.....no way! That's what would push me over the edge again. Why are there mixed wards at all? Everything else was so nice, that I would volunteer to go in if they got rid of the men.
