Note: I have given one star because there is no option to give zero stars or for that matter negative rating. With the above note, I would like to mention here is that my 16 month old daughter suffered for 2 hours crying continuously due to waiting time. Only 2 doctors functioning at night till 1 AM and only 1 after that. After 2 hours of wait, at around midnight, we got to know that there is still another 2 hours of wait. Finally we had to return back home without any doctor seeing her and was she was crying continuously. As a father I am guilty of not able to provide timely medical treatment to my daughter only because of mismanagement at this hospital.

I am very sorry that you and your daughter had a long wait in our Emergency Department. It must have been a worrying time for you. We try to ensure that all of our patients are seen in a timely manner and we have a particular concern to ensure that children are assessed by a member of our emergency staff which could include an experienced nursing assessment before a patient is seen by our medical doctors. If this was not your experience we would want to understand this in more detail as we need to be able to improve our care of patients, particularly children, all of the time.
