"I just hope that they did the right operation"

About: Royal Gwent Hospital / Trauma & orthopaedics

(as the patient),

Went for surgery on my foot in late March. On arrival the ward didn't have my records or know what procedure I was having done. On my way in to theatre I was mixed up with another patient as they thought I was allergic to iodine! Just hope they did the right operation on my foot as the surgeon didn't come to see me after(so still don't really know what was done exactly) I still haven't had an outpatients appointment either even after phoning on numerous occasions and just being told no clinic available for me. I have a half cast on which is hanging off at the moment just hope my foot doesn't fall with it!
