I had a operation at the BMI Alexandra Hospital in February 2015 and have been very disappointed with the service. I was quoted 1) A consultants fee 2) Hospital fee 3) An anaesthetic fee. I paid all three amounts which I was quoted for and was annoyed after I returned home from my operation to receive a forth unquoted bill. I always pay my bills but was angry to receive a fourth bill I wrote to the Executive Director of the BMI Hospital ( who took a month to reply ) and said the fourth bill was a surgical fee but didn't explain why I wasn't quoted for this before I agreed to have the operation !!!. I had a operation at the BMI Hospital in Lancaster in 2012 and all costs were itemised and quoted clearly before I agreed to have my operation. I will not be using the BMI Alexandra Hospital again very disappointing !!!
