"Prescription and information of medication"

About: Birmingham Women's Hospital

I think everyone here are wonderful but I believe that when the doctors prescribe something they should give clear instructions and they should prescribe it themselves.

Thank you for your kind comments as well as the issues you have raised about prescribing. Your feedback will be passed on our Gynaecology Team. We would also like to reassure you that any staff who prescribe medication or treatments are fully trained to do so and we are doing a lot of work to ensure that patients have all the information they need about any medication they are prescribed on discharge. If you would like to talk through any issues relating to what you were prescribed, please contact our pharmacy team who will be happy to help on 0121 623 6886. Thank you once again for your feedback With best wishes, Birmingham Women's Hospital
