Badly cut my thumb on my power saw, went to john coupland hospital fearing the worst, but the duty nurse cleaned the wound bandaged it up and asked me to go to another hospital for an xray. this i did at once on their advice, the doctor there said there wasn't any bone damage and bandaged the thumb and sent me home with a d.i.y kit to redress the wound. but thinking better of it and my wife,s skill with a sticking plaster i decided to go back to john coupland hospital where once again i saw the nurse who did a very professional bandaging job and fixed me up with some antibiotics. A wonderful nurse. So a very big thank you to the nurse and all the other nurses who i have seen over the past few days. All of them very professional. J. Allsopp
