I have just spent two weeks on Gissing ward, having been admitted with acute pancreatitis. Throughout my stay all members of staff , including cleaners, caterers etc., were kind, caring, considerate and helpful. The food was excellent and the standard of cleaning was high. I have nothing but admiration for the nursing staff. Even though they were rushed off their feet, nothing was too much trouble for them. They treated me with kindness and dignity throughout my stay.
