I travelled from Hastings for this appointment.I went to main reception and was welcomed by a warm and welcoming person who gave me directions of where to go.My appointment was to see a vascular surgeon.I had a bit of a wait in the waiting area but I I know that this can happen due to reasons beyond there control.I ended up seeing a registra to the consultant who was very polite and listened to the problems I was experiencing. They spoke about treatment options and explained it to me in a way I understood. The registrar was attentive and and was the first person who said I probably have a condition called klippel treunanay syndrome, a rare disorder which is why nobody has picked up on it.I felt my problems would be dismissed as I'm young to have varicose veins but I have to say I felt very at ease and I'm grateful for them taking the time to see me .I would certainly come back to dgh instead of the conquest in hastings
