I am currently pregnant with my first child, the care I have received from the community midwives to date hasn't been great. However my husband and I recently attended a physio class at RAH maternity, which we both found really useful. It was practical, informative and well delivered in an informal environment where we felt comfortable to ask questions. We also attended 3 classes with midwives - the first two classes were very basic and could have been combined into one session.
Following the class I had to refer into the service due to wrist pain, I was seen almost immediately and fitted with splints which have eased my pain, I was also given help and advice and really felt listened too.
