"Carer treatment"

About: The Great Western Hospital / General surgery

(as a carer),

I just want to say how appalled I was to see someones carer told they have to go and sit in a different chair and not in the one next to the bed his wife was receiving chemo in. Even though it was empty and not in any way being used and to make matters worse he was then told by a different nurse to sit in the chair by the bed and then again told he couldn't use it.

Just make your minds up already and be consistant. When the gentleman did get another chair to sit by his wife it just made access to the patient worse for the nurses. His wife has cancer do you really think what chair he sits in is important to him.
