"Excellent maternity care"

I gave birth to my son at Broomfield and couldn't be happier with the care and attention I received. I had a long & complicated birth and a major haemorrhage afterwards that was life threatening. This could so easily have been a traumatic experience but the situation was dealt with calmly and sympathetically. Everything was explained to me along the way and the midwives and doctors treated me with such care. I was well looked after during the 48 hours following the birth by everyone involved, down to the healthcare assistant who helped me brush my teeth and hold my son. Couldn't recommend this department more.
