What I liked

I was treated with care consideration and respect. The consultant and ward staff were first class. Even the food was OK

What could be improved

Not enough ward staff were on duty over night. The nurses and health care assistants were stretched to care for the twenty two surgical patients on the ward.

Anything else?

My diagnosis and subsequent treatment for prostate cancer was handled very quickly and with professionalism. I was given access to the latest procedures and was out of hospital after three days. I don't think it could have been better.
