Response from Sunderland Royal Hospital

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review on the NHS Choices website. It is important that we hear about our patients' experiences - both good and bad. We are sorry that you have experienced problems with regard to medications being given to you despite suffering from allergies. You mention that you have discussed some aspects of your care with a matron and it may be that she has already picked this up however it is important that we can understand why this has happened and we would like to look into this further. If you would like us to do that, please contact the Help and Advice Service (helpandadviceservice@chsft.nhs.uk) with your contact details and they can liaise with the relevant staff on your behalf.
