"Second operation in 2 months, but still impressed!"

About: Royal United Hospital

Thank you to all the staff for another positive experience at the RUH in March 2015. After having an operation in February 2015 (see separate review) I was confident that I would be well looked after again. I arrived in admissions at 7.30am, had my mastectomy and lymph node removal operation at 10.30am and was awake by 1.30pm. I had no post-anaesthetic sickness or pain. The staff on Phillip Yeoman Ward were very caring and attentive. I was allowed to go home the next day (with my drain still attached)! Many thanks to the admissions unit, surgery team, recovery unit, Phillip Yeoman Ward and The Breast Clinic (with a special thanks to my Breast Care Nurse.
