On 18/3/15, I was diagnosed with angina in the Rapid Access Chest Pain Clinic and returned just over 2 weeks later (2/4/15) for an angiogram and angioplasty procedure. Although the angioplasty was attempted, it was abandoned due to complications and I have been referred back for elective rotablation and angioplasty, hopefully within the next 2 - 3 weeks. Although I was disappointed at the time, I would like to thank all of the team from the healthcare assistants through to the consultant who carried out the procedure, for their professionalism, bedside manner and warm, caring attitude. You are all a tribute to your profession. I am delighted and feel privileged that we have such a unit of local, national and international recognition here in Leicestershire. I don't want to single out individuals but I would like to send my special "Thanks" and Love to the team of nurses and healthcare assistants in Ward 32 :-). Take care and see you soon! X
