"A&e, ccu, ward 12"

About: North Tyneside General Hospital

I took my dad to North Tyneside A&E where he received excellent care. He was promptly triaged, assessed and diagnosed. He was reviewed by the medical reg and moved to CCU within four hours. He received excellent care by the nurses, health care assistants and doctors. He was moved to ward 12 as he was stable while a/w a pacemaker. This was fitted at Wanbeck a couple of days later. My dad and my entire family have nothing but praise for the care and life saving treatment that he was given.

Dear Jill, Thank you. Your kind review reminds me what a privilege it is to work in healthcare. We have the chance to provide care for people when they are at their most sick and we also have the chance to work with them to make a real difference. I am sure all the staff involved in saving your Dad's life would agree. I am so glad that our care was efficient, effective and above all kind - we think it is exactly the sort of care your Dad deserves. i will ensure your thanks are passed on to all the teams involved. I hope he is getting stronger each day - you must have been so worried about him. With all best wishes to you and your family. Please don't hesitate to come back to us if there is anything you need, Annie
