"Excellent!!"

I was apprehensive about my initial appointment in the colposcopy department about the detection of pre-cancerous cells (having previously had another form of cancer). I am afraid there were tears and an emotional patient to deal with. I have to say the staff were so understanding and very supportive of my situation and anxieties and went to great lengths to leave me feeling reassured and valued. When my follow-up appointment was at an inconvenient time and on an inconvenient day, the co-ordinator was so accommodating at re-arranging the date and time around my commitments. Often the NHS gets very bad press but I cannot fault the way in which I have been dealt with so far. Please do make sure this review gets to someone in the department so they can see that their professionalism and help really is appreciated.
