"Excellent for the operation, less so for..."

About: Royal Free Hospital

I had a small operation at the end of March, preparation to the operation and operation itself went really smoothly, I had all the information and I support I needed and everything was provided in a professional and sensitive way. The discharge was more cumbersome, I waited 2 hours to be discharged, I hade to look for the nurse twice to see what was going on and I felt I was left to myself. The hospital has fantistic professionals who are clearly dedicated and have patients' wellbeing at heart, however some processes are clearly unnecesserely complicated and need to be set right.

Thank you very much for your feedback. We're delighted that you had a good experience overall and apologise for the inconvenience of the delay in being discharged. We have passed your comments on to the team so that we can look at ways of improving our service in the future. Thanks for getting in touch.
