"Came out in exactly the same way I went"

About: Pinderfields General Hospital

I went to a walk in centre in Wakefield and was advised to go to a&e. As I was seen by a nurse who was not understanding in the slightest and was more interested in chatting about them being quiet and having an easy day. I found this very disrespectful not only to me but to whomever was to attend this hospital. We clearly were not welcome. I was told I would need a blood test and to wait in the waiting room. As I was collected by the Consultant, I was just lead to a room with no conversation. I was disgusted in the way they talked down to me and did not help me with anything I came in for. I said I was told I needed a blood test and they said not to bother! Very bad communication in my eyes. I kept trying to ask them questions as to what my symptoms were caused by and they did not answer any of them. They seemed very keen for me to leave rather than being concerned about a patient which .. Correct me if I'm wrong .. To me that Is their job.

We would be pleased to arrange for this matter to be investigated if the patient would like to contact us directly with appropriate details.
