Recent experience at Shepton Mallet was absolutely fantastic, from pre op through to actual surgery. Would recommend to anyone needing treatment. My op was major surgery and I couldn't fault it. The compact site made it a much better experience. Staff from Reception through to Consultant were all superb - no exceptions. Have previously been to Musgrove Park in Taunton which has been very good, but Shepton Mallet has been excellent, and with free parking too. Spent the first 10 minutes looking for the car park payment machine. Went in to a Reception to be told parking is free - incredible. We are so lucky in the South West. Our GP service is excellent too. Family still in Kent have a completely different view of the NHS, the service is horrendous. Can't say enough good things about Shepton Mallet Hospital.
