About: Lanarkshire Community Services / GP Out of Hours service

(as a relative),

My Mother in law has been unwell for the past week, she had been to see her Doctor but he sent her away with just some antibiotics. her condition worsened and she then rung NHS24 this morning. They told her to go to Wishaw General and she did, she was seen by a nurse first and then the out of hours GP. The staff at Wishaw General were outstanding, their care was second to none, especially staff nurse Gillian Kirkwood and Dr Gareth (unsure of his surname).

Cannot thank the staff at WGH enough for all their care, help, advice and treatment. Truly a credit to the NHS profession. Thanks

Many thanks for your post following your experience with the Out of Hours Service with your mother in law. I've passed your comments onto the General Manager and Service Manager for Out of Hours who are delighted with your feedback.
