I am currently recovering at home, after I had my left hip fully replaced at Hexham. The care I recived both before and after my operation was exseptinal. My room and associated facilities were first class, I couldn't praise all the staff of ward 3 enough. I highly recommend this hospital. Date of my operation was the 28th February. Signed David shaw.

Dear David, Hope your recovery at home is going very well and that pain is not an issue for you. I loved the fact that all aspects of your care : before , during and after your hip replacement have been exceptional and that the environment of care on ward 3 was also 'first class' for you. The orthopaedic team have very high standards and are always striving to improve these so they will be delighted to read your review. Thanks for taking the time to share it with us.
