"Beautifully coordinated care over 5 months"

I am extremely impressed and happy with the care I have received since having a mild stroke last November. I was referred by my GP, given an op appointment by the next day, had an MRI scan and ultrasound then saw the consultant with both results available and within 2 hours. The consultant was able to immediately prescribe new, ongoing medication and get blood tests done all in one visit. Subsequently I had another u/s scan and follow up appointment where all results were collated and a final conclusion to treatment reached. I am immensely pleased, and hugely satisfied. I cannot fault any of the several departments I needed to visit. I reflect now what this would have cost someone like me, on a low income in, say the USA, without an NHS. Let us never go back to pre-1948 conditions here!
