"Information, What information!!"

About: Frimley Park Hospital (Frimley)

My husband spent a week on the cardiology ward, whilst the nursing staff did their very best, the lack of information given from the consultant to the staff to us was horrendous. My poor husband and I did not know what was happening at any given time. When admitted he was told he needed an urgent pelvic scan, this was actually done 3 days later. An emergency MRI took a day and a half. I am afraid I have no confidence in this hospital whatsoever.

We are very sorry that you did not feel communicated with while your husband was in the cardiology ward. Communication is critical to good care so the team in cardiology will be keen to find out more about what gave you concern. If you were able to contact the Patient Advice and Liaison Service on 526530 palsusers@fph-tr.nhs.uk they would be happy to discuss in more detail so that we can investigate further.
