I was treated as a person during my stay for an operation in orthopaedic of fusion of the joint on my big toe.
At each phase of my hospital stay, although I was only as a day patient, I was attended with care and consideration. Every step I was met by friendly and kind staff. Just before going in for the operation, the anaesthetists and her assistants kept me from worrying - this is my first operation, and when in recovery similarly another nurse was kind and reassuring. I would like to thank Carole on D section, she was constantly cheerful and efficient even with a full house.
Remembering names is not easy when a bit "out of it" but I'm sure the attention I received is general. Thank you aswell to the Theatre admissions unit, and a general thank you to all!
