I have had lots of appointments with the Women's hospital and they are always on time within 5 minutes which is lovely! The doctors are accommodating, always have a female nurse in the room too which I find very comforting and I feel I have more input to my health than I have with any other hospital/clinic. When I was not comfortable with my last medication the doctor spoke with the senior consultant and compromised to come up with a plan we were both comfortable with, I very much appreciated this. I had a laparoscopy in 2010. I was given the option to stay overnight and did not feel pressurised to get out. The day nurses were fantastic, couldn't do more for you. However the night nurses were terrible. I ended up getting sick because I was given too much morphine (not used to it) and when I got sick in the bathroom the nurse got annoyed and asked me to clean it up, which I obviously couldn't do due to holes in my abdomen...however as soon as the day nurses came back on everything was great again. I would recommend the women's hospital, I'v had friends go in for other conditions and there is always a positive view
"Good clinics, some staff great, some horrible"
