I attended A&E on Saturday 28/3/15. It was extremely busy which is obviously no fault of the staff. I wasn't feeling well at all but had to stand for long periods due to the lack of seating in the waiting area. All the staff I dealt with were friendly and competent. My main concern was the dirty state of a cubicle I was treated in which had blood drops all over the floor and the lack of privacy. There was one doctor examining and diagnosing patients in a corridor. Everything that was said to these patients could be overheard by everyone else in the waiting area. I was asked to wait in the clinical decisions unit in a waiting room. Whilst in the room two other people were dealt with by medical staff and diagnosed in front of everyone else. I was then myself diagnosed in front of two other people in the waiting room. I was not at all happy with the lack of privacy I was afforded.
