I have just had an elective total hip replacement on March 25th. I have nothing but the utmost thanks to all staff involved in my care. From arriving to leaving the care, respect and concern was excellent. The nursing staff were extremely professional and treated me as an individual and with respect and dignity, they were also very patient and involved me in all decision on my care. This applied to both day and night staff including HCAs I had a fabulous therapy team looking after me and the information about excercise, mobility and use of aids was superb. They went out of their way to ensure I was confident when I was discharged. Both the physio and OT were extremely attentive and kind and had a great sense of humour, they encouraged me to get myself ready for home and ensured I had all the right equipment to help my recovery at home. Thank you to all concerned, I am looking forward to getting back to full mobility . My only criticism is the quality of the hot meals, but if you are a salad eater they are top class.
"Thanks to all concerned."
