What I liked
My teenage son was treated at A&E very quickly - he was in extreme pain. All staff found time to talk to him and explain what was going to happen which calmed him down considerably. He was very well looked after on the childrens ward after surgery. Thank you to everyone who made his stay easier.
Anything else?
Although everything is done for patients up to their departure - people need to realise that you are left on your own to effect that departure. In my case hunting down a wheelchair and getting him out to the car on my own.
