"rude unhelpful practicioner nurse in A and E"

About: University Hospital Of North Durham

I attended the A and E department in extreme pain caused by an ulcerated jaw and wisdom tooth. After almost three hours I was attended by a practicioner nurse who was rude and most unhelpful, talking over me, and stridently telling me 'they' were not Dentists. I was deeply offended by their negative dictatorial manner and very sorry to see such standards in an NHS teaching hospital especially as I was in too much pain to defend myself. Also there were no receipt boxes in which to deposit the comments forms which are designed to indicate service levels. This deterred me from leaving my complaint concerning treatment.
