On behalf of my family, I would wish to thank the staff at Eastbourne DGH for the truly amazing care afforded to my mother during the last few days of her life. In particular, I would like to commend all the staff in Seaford Ward 1 (MAU). They were extremely kind, attentive and caring throughout my mother’s time there. I suspect, far too often, a letter to yourself will comprise a complaint. On this occasion, I believe the DGH staff should be commended for their exceptional work and you, as Chief Exec., should be absolutely proud of the service they provide. Well done. And Thank You.

It's always encouraging for staff to receive positive feedback as this recognises the good work they do, but also enables them to reflect upon the difference they make to patients and their families.
