I was told that I would be taken from the NMCCC ward where my healthcare needs where properly taken care of. I then found that I would be taken up to a more populated ward My medical condition requires constant monitoring and this was explained as soon as we arrived After asking a ward nurse to be disconnected from my IV-Drip to allow me to visit the toilet, I was left alone and unattended I then went to the toilet, I found myself slipping on a large patch of urine that had been left behind, this resulted in my left leg slipping and my whole body weight landing on my knee resulting in a painful, red and swollen knee cap. At this point, I pulled the cord for assistance which never came until I was able to finally shouted out to someone who was passing for and to get a nurse (I was totally left alone by the ward and not supported at all and it wasn't the excuse that all of them were busy and didn't get time. The nurses from NMCCC should have been allowed to support and care for me/their patients and not given additional jobs/ workload whilst there from the ward I went then to the ward's Helpdesk, only to be asked if I cased my own accident, at that point feeling a bit neglected, upset and unsupported, I ask to be taken back to the NMCCC ward or the me discharge myself from the hospital. After being taken back to the NMCCC ward the night doctor came down to check my knee and over my condition As I am in-patient, I feel the NMCCC department are the only ones that can cater for my needs with more then adequate support for my healthcare and requirements. Being moved around does not
