"moorland view mental health services"

About: North Devon District Hospital

I am disgusted that my father who was taken it to moorland view ward at north Devon hospital because of severe depression and suicidal attempts was promised he would be able to go swimming because they would find a suitable member of staff to buddy him however he was waiting at half 9 when he was supposed to leave to find out there was no one to go with him and the person the staff thought would be able to go would have never been able to because that staff member was on holiday. also he feels like he is in prison because when it is quiet all he can hear is jangling keys. It is unacceptable to promise someone who already feels let down something you know you cant deliver.

Dear anonymous Thank you for leaving feedback. It seems to be about Moorland View, which is a service run by Devon Partnership at NDDH and not the Northern Devon Healthcare NHS Trust. I have passed your feedback onto DPT. Kind regards Katherine
