"Fantastic Ward D5"

I attended ward D5 yesterday for a rigid cystoscopy and cannot fault the care I received. It was extremely busy as they were running Saturday operations to clear waiting lists. I arrived at 7 and had all my checks with surgeon, anaethetist and nurse by 9.a.m. I then waited in a quiet room where there were some other ladies. We chatted and read books and one lady had a snooze!! By 1p.m i was gowned up and off for my procedure. I was back on the ward by 2.10 p.m and my partner picked me up at 3.15 p.m. All the staff were fantastic and caring even though they were all extremely busy. A big thank you to all involved who gave their Saturdays up to provide such an efficient service.
