About: Hexham General Hospital

I attended A and E today and was dealt with very quickly. I no sooner sat down and my name was called. The whole atmosphere was calm and relaxed, this was not like a normal A and E dept. The staff were very polite and caring, the doctor that treated me had a wonderful bedside manner. Nothing appeared to be a problem. I know you can't pick and choose who the patients are but everyone seemed so polite with self respect. It was such a difference from other A and E depts where people are in/out covered in blood shouting and swearing down their mobile phones ! Please maintain the standards.
