Having received two audio test and subsequent hearing aids I tried to use them for my main purpose, to hear the spoken word, it didn't happen. I requested a further test with the comment " is it possible to adjust the aids to hear voices better, other noises were extremely loud. The person I saw said the aids should have been set louder in the first place and if they had set them up they would have ignored what I had said with regards to suitability. They failed to listen to my request and failed to explain if it is possible to set the aids to the human voice or not. I felt as if they totally ignore my request and the outcome is that I am not satisfied with the changes made, the aids are too loud for everything else but the human voice. Please give me a straight answer, can the aids be adjusted to My Needs not the wishes of the Audiologist!
