"Assisted birth in January"

I had a Ventouse Delivery on delivery suite in January this year and all the staff were brilliant. I hoped for a water birth but couldn't in the end, but the delivery room was clean and comfortable with its own en-suite, and we were allowed to stay in there all night before going to the ward, which was also really comfortable and nice and small. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and we felt very well looked after, and the facilities available are brilliant. The NHS gets a lot of criticism but we left with our baby full of admiration for it and feeling very lucky that we have this wonderful service available to us.
