I had a Hysterectomy on the gynae ward last may. I am a nurse myself . A bank holiday was involved . On arrival on the fri am the ward staff were great, theatre staff fab . But the next day a bowl was plonked on my table .i really didnt need help - good job because was not offered help. Nurses were cold and unhelpful . The ladies in my bay had cancer. They were not supported in any way , often left crying. Painrelief for one lady who sadly died a few weeks later was always hours late. We all had urine infections and ended up going to sliuce for bedpans and putting our names on.we all complaining but were met with blank faces. Wished id reported this formerly .loads more problems but now forgotten . Shocking
