Hi there, I was in hospital for the period of two and a half days in total, after a full Hysterectomy, I was very nervous and my Doctor and all the nurses before and after my op made me feel very reassured indeed! I could not fault the nurses and all their amazing help when in the hospital at all, they were fab! The only disappointing thing was, the day after my op, because i was doing so well and they needed the beds, and it was so busy on the ward, i got moved in total three times! It wasnt the nurses fault, i dont know who is to blame, but after a major operation, it was the last thing i needed. The very last time i was moved was at 12 O Clock at night, from the Gyno ward right down to the Day Care Ward, were again they did the best they could for me! By the time the morning came i was so tired and upset, with all the moving around, i was so glad in the end, when they said i could go home! Im not bad mouthing the hospital and the staff as they were fab, it just doesnt seem right that because i was doing okay compared to some people, that i was moved so much! Its just not what expected when coming in for a major operation!
"Hysterectomy op!"
