"Quick care from GP Surgery"

I hobbled into my GPs on Thursday with no great expectations of receiving an appointment that week. I was more than pleasantly surprised when I was offered one for the afternoon of the same day without claiming that I had to be seen urgently.

I duly arrived for my appointment and was seen within half an hour of my appointed time. I understand that there are valid reasons for delays so this did not bother me.

My GP was very welcoming and showed genuine concern when I discussed my ailment. He examined me thoroughly, referred me for an x-ray and gave me a prescription.

What has prompted me to write is because not so long ago there would have been a different outcome, starting with trying to arrange an appointment. Well done to the whole practice for the noticeable turnaround.
