"Strange"

I really don't get why I must travel to Otley to be treated (a hernia operation) if I live in Central Leeds??? Why all the trouble? Can't local people living in Otley area be referred to this hospital and I can nicely resolve problems in Leeds area? So strange how Leeds Teaching Hospitals are organised!!! I don't drive, most of friends are working so I'll have to get up at 5am and take a long bus journey to get there by 8am plus how do I get back home after an operation? I'd expect NHS should be better organised and more accessible. (staff are professional and kind, this is all fine but I really don't like all travel etc as Otley is far away from Leeds to travel for an operation and so many hospitals are available in Central Leeds
