I felt in safe, professional, caring and experienced hands

What could be improved

more access to consultant and/or senior doctor

Anything else?

I'm amazed by some of the comments on this page; I found all staff friendly and helpful; cleanliness really good (thanks to contract staff who really seemed to care); food bearable (and I was in on and off for about 3 months). Everything would of course be even better with loads more staff - but that involves political change - and the staff I encountered on two different wards were excellent.

Many thanks for your comments, which will be shared with hospital staff, it is appreciated when people take the time to send their compliments.

With regard to comments by others, we are supportive of everyone's rights to have their say, but would encourage anyone with a difficulty or whose experience has not been good, to contact us in person so that we can look into what happened and try to prevent a repetition.
