My daughter has recently had cardiac surgery and throughout the whole process was treated with dignity, respect and was fully involved in her care. The consultants took as much time as she needed to explain what was planned for her and used appropriate language,so that she fully understood everything, and was able to make informed choices. Intensive care and ward 3&4 staff were all very caring, professional and hard working. They involved parents and sister, in my daughters care and were always available for support and advice.A lot of work had been done by the specialist nursing team to prepare both my daughter and the family for the very stressful process of cardiac surgery, and are still offering help and advice in the early weeks post op.. Thank you very much to all the team.
"wonderful treatment and care for my disabled..."
