"Delay in arranging my appointment"

About: Telford referral and quality service (TRAQS) The Princess Royal Hospital / Rheumatology

(as the patient),

My scores are not about my GP but the referral was made by the consultant at the musculoskeletal clinic.

My appointment was in mid-November 2014 when I was referred to a different consultant. When I had not heard anything by 30th December I rang the hospital (appointments) to find I had not been referred. I had to ring my consultant to find out what had happened they had to look into it as the didn’t know.

In early January I rang TRAQS who had received my referral but would not give me an appointment as I had just moved address ( I had informed my consultant as soon as I could about the new address but they did not update my records). It took until mid-January before I could arrange my appointment which isn’t until mid-February 2015.
