"Good care for Ashtma at Barnsley District General"

The doctors and nurses were very good and understood how I was feeling at the time, however the length of time I spent in A&E was poor, things seem to move very slowly. I would like to thank everyone on ward 19 that treated me for my asthma.

When I went to hospital, I had someone with me, but on some occasions I did see people being brought in, who were scared and lonely. Is there anyone in the hospital who helps these people if there is no family or friends to help? Do you have a volunteer or hospital friend to sit or talk to them while waiting for the staff to see to them? Not to pry into their lives, but to be there if and when needed as a friend to promote the hospital.
