"Physiotherapy Department"

About: Leicester General Hospital

I attended the outpatients Physiotherapy Department, as I had trouble walking and bending my knees after falling down the stairs at my home. I saw a member of staff who showed me the excercises I needed to do, enabling me to get back on my feet without struggling. I did the exercises religiously 3 to 4 times a day; feeling somewhat better I went to Portugal for 2 weeks holiday, with the sun and continuous excercises I now feel so much better. I have been discharged with a little booklet containing more excercises which I will endeavor to keep up. My only criticism about visiting Physiotherapy, was finding it. I couldn't find signs for Physiotherapy, it is signposted Rehabilitation Unit, although it does say Physiotherapy on my appointment card. I found the staff are all very helpful and caring. Thank you and keep up the good work. Y. Jackson

Dear Y.Jackson We really appreciate you taking the time to leave your feedback. It's great that your visit to the physiotherapy department proved to be so useful - and that you found our staff to be helpful and caring. Although we are sorry that the wording on the signs made locating the department a little confusing. Thank you for your kind words - we will pass this on to the team who will be really grateful. Sincerely Communications Team Leicester's Hospital
