"Day Case Care and Staff"

I spent 23/3/15 in the Day Case ward and had an operation on my knee. From the minute I arrived to the minute I left, I found the staff to be so kind and helpful.They took trouble to listen and treat me as an individual...not just a number. I was treated 100% with respect and dignity and I cannot praise them enough. I had been let down at the last minute for a lift home and was really worried about it. I needn't have worried at all.The staff reassured me as soon as I told them and they made the necessary arrangements for the hospital transport to get me home . It was a huge weight off my mind and I appreciate their kindness It seemed like nothing was too much . I would like to add that the anaesthetic staff were so lovely to the point of talking gently to me as I was going 'under'. All round a very good experience . Thank you to the staff on the Day Case ward..you are all so lovely and were always cheerful ..you deserve a medal. Thank you. Eve
